Finalist in the VI Edition of the Aragonese Award for Corporate Social Responsibility
On Friday 14 June, the VI Edition of the Aragonese Award for Corporate Social Responsibility was held, at which GM España won an award in the initiation category, and BSH and the Cooperativa Ganadera de Caspe won awards in the Actions category.
Thinking People was a finalist in the Actions category, receiving a certifying Diploma for its status as a Finalist, for carrying out the “BEST ARAGONESE JUNIORS” Employment Programme in 2012.

Thinking People shows its commitment to combating discrimination by signing the Diversity Charter

On 24 May 2011 Thinking People endorsed the Diversity Charter of Spain. The Charter is a European initiative, within the framework of anti-discrimination directives that the European Union adopted in 2000, and it has the direct support of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities.
It was created as a voluntary commitment code which companies and institutions chose to endorse to support and promote the principles of diversity inclusion and non-discrimination in their working environments.
As a signing company, Thinking People, is committed to a set of principles including, among other things, the commitment to:
-Promote a balance between work and personal life,
-Raise awareness about the principles of equal opportunities and respect for diversity within the values of the company,
-Establish a diverse work force,
-The effective promotion of employment inclusion without discrimination,
-Diversity management in all its executive policies and
-Broadcast and disclose its commitment to these values to its whole environment.
Endorsing this initiative, Thinking People decided to apply diversity management policies to create capacity and innovation, to build an environment of satisfaction and reconciliation for all its staff, to reduce operating costs, increase the organisational efficiency and measure, in terms of quantity and quality, the impact on the profit and loss account as well as complying with the regulations in force regarding equal opportunities. More than two hundred companies and organisations that operate in Spain, including BBVA, Banco Santander, Telefónica, Acciona, Coca-Cola, Toyota, Iberdrola, Endesa, IBM and Microsoft, have endorsed the Diversity Charter since it was first established.

Thinking People endorses the United Nations Global Compact. The United Nations Global Compact is an ethical commitment initiative that has the aim that companies in every country incorporate ten principles of conduct and action into their strategy and operations.
